WIDE SKY - "craft pop" live!

Die sechsköpfige Band aus Braunschweig macht kommerzielle Popmusik für die neuen 20er, mit lieben Grüßen an die alten 80er und 90er. Soulful, rockig, groovy und manchmal melancholisch - in jedem Fall mit 100% eigenem Songmaterial - "craftet" eben. Dabei ist im besten Sinn Vorsicht geboten, denn performed werden hier tanzbare Songs mit gefährlich hohem Ohrwurmfaktor: Die Songs begrüßen den Zuhörer gerne gleich am Morgen nach dem Konzertbesuch beim Aufstehen und begleiten ihn überaus "anhänglich" durch den Tag ;-)
Getragen vom unfassbar schönem Timbre der Sängerin Judith Grodde fusioniert die Band unterschiedliche Strömungen aus den letzten 40 Jahren Pop-Geschichte zu einem konzeptionell eigenständigen, unverwechselbaren Sound der die Band seit Ende des letzten Jahres auf die Bühnen der Region führt - so zuletzt beim Braunschweiger Festival "Kultur im Zelt" und beim "Familientag" von VW in Wolfsburg vor mehreren Tausend Besuchern.

The six-piece band from Braunschweig makes commercial pop music for the new 20s, with a nod to the old 80s and 90s. Soulful, rocking, groovy and sometimes melancholic - in any case with 100% original song material - "crafted". Caution is advised in the best sense of the word, because the songs performed here are danceable songs with a dangerously high catchy tune factor: the songs like to greet the listener as soon as they get up in the morning after a concert and accompany them through the day in an extremely "clingy" way ;-)
Carried by the incredibly beautiful timbre of singer Judith Grodde, the band fuses different trends from the last 40 years of pop history into a conceptually independent, unmistakable sound that has taken the band to the stages of the region since the end of last year - most recently at the Braunschweig festival "Kultur im Zelt" and at VW's "Family Day" in Wolfsburg in front of several thousand visitors.
